Super Bowl Panel Picks
Two weeks feels like a long time without a panel article. But it’s nothing compared to the 29-week break between today and week one of the 2025-2026 season. The 2024-2025 NFL season has reached its end and with it, comes the panel’s last dance. It’s been an honor being the voice of the panel this season, but it’s not over just yet.
Chiefs vs Eagles is the ultimate showdown of showdowns and as we count down the final minutes before kickoff, the intensity is higher than Snoop Dogg during the 2022 halftime show.
The storylines surrounding this game are one-of-a-kind. The Chiefs are looking to accomplish the never-been-done-before threepeat while the Eagles—the greatest rushing team in the history of the NFL—are looking to become America’s and the infrastructure of Philadelphia’s hero by toppling the mighty Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts went band for band just two years ago in this very game and with re-tooled rosters and elevated stakes, they’re ready to go M for M tonight in one of the football capitals of the world—New Orleans.
But I don’t need Central Cee lyrics to tell you how slim the margins are in this highly anticipated battle; I’ll let the panel show you. But first, let’s reveal the full panel standings.
As you might have already figured out, George has wrapped up the panel victory for the season (congratulations will be in order on the panel recap). Now, it’s all about the race for second between Ray and Rahul—a rivalry that has stood the test of time—the fight for fourth between Theo and me and the courageous battle for seventh place between Josh and Jackson.
Let’s move forward to the picks for the Super Bowl. We were completely split down the middle on who was going to win with four of us picking the Chiefs and four of us picking the Eagles.
Ray: Eagles 34-17
Super Bowl MVP: Jalen Hurts
Josh: Chiefs 31-23
Super Bowl MVP: Xavier Worthy
George: Chiefs 27-24
Super Bowl MVP: Patrick Mahomes
Webb: Eagles 34-20
Super Bowl MVP: Saquon Barkley
Jackson: Eagles 42-10
Super Bowl MVP: Saquon Barkley
Rahul: Chiefs 31-27
Super Bowl MVP: Travis Kelce
Theo: 26-20 OT
Super Bowl MVP: Patrick Mahomes
Ben: Eagles 31-24
Super Bowl MVP: Saquon Barkley
The Super Bowl is also a great day for sports betting. Our panel has a few betting tips for you before the game kicks off.
Josh: Bet on a Xavier Worthy anytime touchdown.
Webb: Bet on a DeAndre Hopkins anytime touchdown and Mahomes over 30.5 rushing yards.
Jackson: Bet on Mahomes to “sh— his pants.”
Ben: Bet on under 3:26 minutes on “HUMBLE.” performed by Kendrick Lamar.
I have nothing more to say on the matter. It’s been an incredible season and now, it all comes to one game. Will Patrick Mahomes win his fourth Super Bowl MVP as the Chiefs are scribed into untouched pages of the history books, or will Saquon Barkley and the Eagles overthrow Kansas City’s dynasty once and for all? Only time will tell.
Enjoy the game!
